I work in industrial scaffolding and wanted to work with something that hand less wear and tear on my arm and had more reach than my previous hammer. A lot of other scaffolders had issues with their stilettos and I stumbled upon Martinez and took a chance. I ordered the m4 head since the m1 head isn’t necessary for scaffolding. Don’t think I’ll go back to any other style of hammer. Glad there is such a product on the market.

Worth it! Just used this hammer all day framing and I really loved it. I really appreciate quality well thought out tools. The fact it is made in the USA means a lot as well. After watching YouTube RR buildings I decided to give this hammer a shot over the tibone. Happy I did!

I switched just a few weeks ago from an all steel Estwing that had been terrorizing my elbow and hand. I can’t recommend this hammer more. It was worth every penny, it’s a monster at driving nails and demo, and after just 3 weeks I can swing for the fences and have zero pain in my arm. The first day I broke it in well, don’t be afraid to use this hammer because of the price tag. It costs what it does because it is top of the line and will last. We used the side nail puller to pull old school 5 and 6 inch nails that were too thick for my 36” wrecking bar claw to get a good grip on. I abuse this tool and it has very quickly become my favorite.

I’ve loved my M1 for the past year and a half , doing everything from post framing, residential framing and now remodeling, siding , windows and punch out work.
It has never failed .
Just need to order an m4 head now …. and the square …. and nail puller

Justifying this purchase to somone not in the trades is tough. For the person swinging one everyday you will notice the difference on the first strike. Well worth the money just ask my elbow!
