Amazing!!! Definitely the best in the trade!

I bought one! It is amazing! Hits super heavy with little shock or vibration. The M1 is my favorite hammer for framing and form work. I’ve compared it the other top dog on the market by taking each to work . M1 for the win! The grip is really the difference maker. Tried curved but switched very conveniently to straight for a little extra swing power and reach. Although the hammer is perfectly balanced for the curved handeI I enjoy the extra length I get out of the straight handel as I can comfortably slip the base of the handel into the center of my palm. I also feel the confidence of knowing that the most vulnerable parts of the hammer can be replaced (claws, handle sleeve). So that being said it’s been fun abusing this hammer like I would never do to one with a nice hickory handle. Must be a few months by now and I just like it more and more.

Way better than stiletto… Ti -bone.. Martinez will work with u if something breaks.. Replaceable head and grip.. U can customize it however u like… If something breaks on the Stiletto you have to replace the whole hammer.. Martinez tools are the best of the best…

This hammer is absolutely amazing, so comfortable to swing. You do not have to swing hard to drive a nail in because of the design of head. My elbow does not ache at the end of the day. Mark you hit it out of the park with the design of the M1. All of the Martinez products are designed with the tradesmen in mind and are a made in the USA with highest quality products. They cost a little more but are worth every penny, nothing comes close

Simply the Best hammer in world

Swung a TiBone for the last few years, really liked that hammer. Friend of mine tested it and also loved it. I said, well maybe I’ll sell it to you because I want a Martinez. He went and bought me the M1 and gave it to me – I then gave him my TiBone, win. First Pole Shed framed, 50# of 20d and a roof full of 60’s. Really enjoy swinging the M1. I believe it’s better than the Stilletto. I still use my old steel 22oz for cats paw work. For those of you still swinging steel.. make the switch, it’s a no brainer. Remember when impact drivers showed up? Same thing with these hammers. They are awesome, expensive and worth it.

I received this hammer about 3 weeks ago and I have been waiting to post my review until I put some work hours on this hammer. Well the verdict is in on this thing and this hammer is by far the best hammer I have ever used. As soon as I picked it up it automatically felt great in my hands and the rubber grip is super grippy even when my hands are sweaty. I don’t have to worry about this guy flying out of my hands while I’m swinging it. I will say because of the titanium handle being so light and the steel head having all of the weight this thing pounds nails like a jack hammer lol. If you are used to an all metal hammer this thing may take some getting used to. I was swinging a hickory handle hammer so the weight distribution feels roughly the same to me. The magnetic nail set works great and the side nail puller rips out 16D and 20D nails with ease. This hammer will be in my tool bag for the rest of my career which is a while since I’m only 35. A word of warning tho…. people have been eyeballing my hammer and wanting to use it to try it out…..I have to lock it up in my truck so nobody steals it…..just a word of warning to anyone that buys this hammer…..it will disappear at the job site so be careful!!! All and all a great tool and a fantastic design. Keep up the good work Mark!!!! Hopefully I can get my hands on one of your rapid squares soon!!!

So a year(s) later… M1 definitely packs a punch. Still for basic framing I prefer a stiletto that seems to have a better balance, longer handel and faster swing. Also the M1 has a significant angle on the head which may or may not effect your swing. I’ve been grinding that face back. I use my M1 for demo and heavy form work now.

My girlfriend and I are both union carpenters so we love our tools and take pride in what we own. I’ve been wanting a Martinez for a while but never wanted to eat the cost. So naturally my girlfriend surprised me on Father’s Day with one…
let me just say, I HATED this hammer after the first day! I was super guilty because I knew what she spent but the ergonomic design is wonky and the fulcrum is super high due to the weight in the head and it’s vastly different from anything I’ve used before but I didn’t have the heart to tell her how I felt so I decided to ride it out. After about two weeks this hammer became my crack! I’m in love with everything this hammer is! After you perfect the swing it becomes unreal what this bad boy can do. I left my tools by the job box and someone stole my hammer and the random one I’m using now just makes me feel dirty… I’ll be buying a new one real soon!

How can I send you guys a picture of a handle grip that I accidentally covered in red chalk? It looks so cool to see if you can’t offer to the public personally I think it’s amazing. I love the hammer by the way I have had it for a week and it feels amazing

I bought an M1 framing hammer about 2 years ago now, I love it! 3 reasons it’s made in America, the grip is money, and it’s near indestructible. I’ve used many hammers before this one, my last daily driver was a stiletto. I was very disappointed when they sold out to China, but also I probably went through a new wood handle every 6 months (I’m a brute) and the over mold grips would tear off. Can’t say it enough, this hammer is awesome, a bit on the heavy side but the grip is so good!

My son has requested this product for,15 oz framing hammer with the curved handle, christmas but it appears to be out of stock. How can i place an order now for this product so when it is in stock he will receive it.

The BEST hammer you will ever use! I’m a Union Carpenter I swing a hammer all day and I’ve always used a wood handled death stick. My buddy got a custom 15oz Martinez hammer and let me use it for a day and WOW! It instantly made me want to order one. The balance was perfect! The swing was so much more smooth and drove 16 Pennie’s like butter, the biggest plus for me was after a 10 hour shift my wrist and forearm weren’t burnt out. I recommend everyone to buy this hammer ya it’s an investment but we’ll worth it you will have no regrets and it’s American made unlike Stilleto the competitor and on top of it they have multiple heads u can change out, don’t wait order a custom now!
